We don't skimp on quality components. InPac® explosion proof HVAC units include as standard what many others consider modifications or special features. Specific Systems® InPac® units are industrial duty by design.

Cabinet manufactured from minimum 16-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel, with optional stainless steel or aluminum
4-mil TGIC powdercoating on galvanized steel and aluminum cabinet components, with coating applied prior to assembly
All stainless steel fasteners
Stainless steel drain pan
ABB Baldor explosion proof evaporator and condenser motors
Explosion proof modulating damper motors*
Condenser coils designed at 8 FPI to reduce clogging in industrial environments

While some companies build systems that are easy to assemble, that doesn't necessarily translate to easy to repair. At Specific Systems, we know downtime causes lost money, so we design our HVAC systems to be serviced in the field quickly and effeciently.

Units from two tons (24,000 BTUH) to 50 tons (600,000 BTUH) utilize dual spark-proof evaporator blower assemblies
Multi-stage refrigeration circuits on most units allows for 50% redundant backup cooling**
High and low refrigerant pressure on all circuits
Compressor high current/temp overload
High temperature in the heating coil
Basic features of standard InPac® HVAC control panels include two-stage control on both heating and cooling, automatic switching, and manual override switches for individual stages

Standard coils are constructed from heavy-weight rifled copper tubes mechanically bonded to aluminum fins
InPac® evaporator and condenser coils interlace completely separate refrigeration circuits
Condenser coils are designed at 8 FPI to reduce clogging in industrial environments
Evaporator coils are designed at 11-13 FPI for efficiency
Freezestats are standard on all InPac® systems
Crankcase heaters are standard on all InPac® systems

*Explosion proof modulating damper motors used only in situations where where required by statute, regulation, certification, or specification
** Multi-stage cooling is comprised of dual circuits on units with capacities 3-tons through 30-tons, awith quad circuits on units 35-tons and larger
